    Default Cotto!!!

It was a great performance by Miguel. I honestly think he should retire now while he is on top. He's taken a lot of punishment over the years. Would love to see him go out with a victory like this. He got his revenge.

I second that, this is the crowning glory of Miguel's career. He is definitely my second best fave fighter of all time next to Manny. Please retire there is nothing else to prove you've been through alot of wars.

I too would like to see him walk away with his faculties entact. He never was blessed with a good chin and didn't react to punches well. Facing top competition and taking punches from guys who can punch (even in fights you win) and it can have a lasting effect on you. Would love for him to walk away now.

Congratulations to Cotto! Great fight, awesome performance. I'm half mexican and was watching it with my mexican family and we were rooting for Cotto. It's not always about race but what's right and wrong. Cotto has always struck me as a very humble and good hearted person and I'm glad he got his revenge. I celebrate his victory as a fellow latino brother.

DIANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did it!!!!! I was nervous as hell, too. I haven't done this much yelling since I don't remember when. But Cotto fought masterfully. Stick and move, stick and move. Margacheato's got a chin and a half. But Cotto put a pounding on the bum.

    YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(On a side note, I smiled at your smilie at the end, 'cause my brother and I were talking about Mrs. Cotto and how we would've liked to have seen her jumping up and down with joy).

Exactly. Couldn't think of a better way to end your career. Nothing left for him to prove.

and a New addition to "NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL AN ASS WHOOPING", IMO Cotto pitched a shutout and was battering the cheating fraud (who's 1-3 since Plastergate), after he had the first 7 rounds in his pocket he stood and traded with Margacheato then even pushed the bigger fuck into the ropes and still banged him up, the real question Kellerman should have done was "explain why you're now 1-3 since being caught with loaded wraps", Steward brought up a great point also in how attentive Tony was while getting wrapped in contrast to his usual "I never pay attention when I'm getting wrapped" lol, IMO 100% VINDICATION and as Cotto himself said Margarito means nothing now, not only to Cotto himself but to the sport of boxing, period

Yep, he did it!!! I was nervous as hell, and my heart was pounding the whole time.

I loved that Miguel went to his corner after the fight, and just stared at him.

LOL on the smiley. You men, I swear. That makes me laugh, because when I used to play coed softball, the guys on the team used to tell me that they loved watching me run the bases. They said it was like watching Baywatch.

I'll bet they pitched it down the middle of the plate so you could get a hit and have to leg it out.

LOL..... and you're right..... we're incorrigible.

Cotto did well with the revenge and how he carried himself throughout the fight, no kissing and hugging afterwards. He has plenty left and should entice Floyd.

I'd like to see Cotto fight Pacquiao or Mayweather next, if not, retire after this great victory.
