Ridiculous thread.
All the many different organizations have brought credibility to the sport.
Extra sanctioning fees - good thing.
3/4 world champs from 1 organiziation - good thing.
many different sets of rankings - good thing.
favouritism for certain fighters - good thing.
Fighters using the belts as bargaining tools or to use as a reason not to face a particular fighter - good thing.
Boxing was once the sport to which all others aspired.
noooo that's why most don't like all these titles...too much confusion...the normal joe thinks boxing has to many Champs...to many weights...promoters lineing their own pockets...Champion A don't want to fight Champ B...all these issues are a mockery to one and all....you really need to get a grip....less titles means less opportunity for others but hey I can live with that!!!
job biscuit (alphabet soup titles...pointless but confusing)!!!
eh eh!!!
lol...u nearly had me there...lol
job biscuit (hook, line & sinker)!!!
eh eh!!!
just what the fuck is all this job biscuit shit ??
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Don't forget the wba "youth" Champion...can you imagine Tyson being anointed that pos and Bonehugger keeping the Mc D's "regular" trinket.
Belts now are nothing more than sales tags and marketing tools unfortunately. Not the term "Champion" though...you know them when they match and fight the part for the most part.
You've been a member of a boxing forum (and thus a fan, I assume) for over 5 years and you've just now figured this out? Bravo sir, bravo.
