Groves threatened over possible shooting
Sorry don't know how to do a link but, the sun page 17, bascially saying the police warned groves and his partner that they had a tip off saying someone was going to shoot him either before the fight or in the ring. Doesn't say why or what it was about?!
Does anyone know anything about it?

Ali got death threats that he was going the get shot in the ring for the second Liston fight.
It effected Liston more than Ali according to Listons Wife.

I do not believe this story, if this was true he would never fight again, it is simply a ploy to get out of the Anderson fight and get a title shot.
