He's going for a world title (WBC) in his third weight class this Friday in Japan.

is it a legit title or a trinket? To be honest I have not really followed his career.

If he gets by Yamanaka impressively I think he makes a good case for himself

He needs to beat either Mares or Donaire in a rematch to get HOF status IMO.

He's fought some of the best from 112 to 118, quality wins over Pacheco, Mijares, Arce, Perez & his performance against Mares & the fact that he fought the likes of Donaire, Agbeko & Moreno strengthen his case

If he bests Yamanaka, then possibly moves to 122 & does some effective work I think he's in!

I think he'll get in if he beats Yamanaka.

He's not done yet so it's still up for grabs. I don't see why not.

Vic should never go anywhere near HOF..

Only way he does is if he serves as a waiter at a HOF dinner event..
