Default Bill to Clean Up Boxing

I understand this is old news and apologies if this is a repeat, but I did a forum search and didn't find any thread about it so here it goes.

A little after the Pac vs Bradley fight, Senators Reid and McCain proposed a bill for the Federal government to put their hands in the boxing game. Your personal thoughts? Personally I feel it's a good first step to the MANY steps boxing needs to take for a more transparent and fair sport.

Yes you are right this is old news because it's like leaders sending their boys off to war, they are trying to fix a problem that has been going on for centuries. When they are finished with the bill do you think these old men that send young men to war will start on the MMA. I don't think the figures for permanent injuries are as visible or accessible as in boxing, do you? All in all when you fail to fix the real problems, you tend to grab the nuts of those men that are still standing still. I don't think that after twenty to thirty centuries you can cure the ills of boxing and you can't teach old dogs new tricks. Let's continue to be fans and hope that there will be a unification fight by the Presidents of the alphabet soup organizations. We'll call it noodle soup organization especially when the guys that run it can't read, write or help fighter's cheated by judges but that's another story.
