I totally forgot that I had set my Tivo box to record it whenever it's on. Pretty good highlights of old fights! You're not going to see the classics but you get to see some early parts of the careers of some pretty good fighters and some legends.
For example, the last show it recorded for me had Roy Jones Jr vs some journeyman and an interesting interview about how promoters were not paying him enough etc.
It had Sharmba Mitchell's 14th or so professional fight when he was 19 against a former Mexican world champ. Bazooka Limon. The guy was hilarious..He was obviously at the tail end of his career and to avoid getting hit, he pulled Sharmba's trunks down to catch a breather.
You also had Michael Moorer against a guy who was running all day long until he got caught with a big uppercut.
It wasn't so much the fights that were interesting, (although entertaining) the interviews with the former stars were the captivating moments. Seeing where they were at certain points in their careers. For example, Moorer had just changed trainers and adopted a more "boxing" style which just wasn't working for him so he realised he needed to go back to the "fighter" Michael Moorer.
Anyone watched the show? You probably have but I recommend it if you haven't - Check it out
