sure I've seen it before but still, nice work Andre.
If you like Bruce Lee the documentary 'I am Bruce Lee' is a must watch! Very interesting and it brings up a lot of new things.

Cheers. I'll look that up. I like the little fellow, pound for pound he sure brought some power and speed to some moves.
Bruce Lee is awesome.
Thoughts on how he would compete with todays fighters(UFC)?
a spontaneous creation with multiple moods.
There is a clip with maybe Bas Rutten where he says if Lee came back to life right now - of course he would lose - give him a year to learn/adjust then sure.
He was athletic and smart. Question is why would he want to? JKD is (very) basically about kicking you in the nuts and running off kinda of martial art not a 'sport' martial art like MMA
He watched a lot of boxing and took things from boxing to add to JKD. In the documentary it say's someone went to his house (can't remember specifically who it was) and asked why he had so many video's on Muhammad Ali to which Bruce replied "because one day i'm going to fight him". Makes the whole Ali vs Lee fantasy fight seem like it could have happened.![]()

Great to see IP man and Wing Chun mentioned.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Back when UFC starting airing on PPV, there was another PPV called "Shootwrestling"... what it was was UWFi (IIRC, winner was decided beforehand, but almost anything goes in the fight, until the fighters ended the fight with the predetermined winner winning). One of the fighters was a wrestler, Gary Albright, and he would get in front of the camera and say words to the effect of "Bring Bruce Lee back from the dead and I'll beat him".
He was:
Billed height6 ft 3 in (1.91 m)Billed weight353 lb (160 kg)
and his signature move was a full-nelson suplex.
Albright vs Gene Lydick
As much of a Bruce Lee fan I am, if he competed in MMA today with no weight divisions, it would be tough... even if he had time to train and had the grappling skills needed to make it in today's MMA. If we are talking MMA back when UFC first started, I think he would have a good chance.

Bruce did embrace the spiritual side of combat and choose the least abrasive route.
Lao Tzu 22
Yield and overcome;
Bend and be straight;
Empty and be full;
Wear out and be new;Have little and gain;
Have much and be confused.
Therefore wise men embrace the One
and set and example to all.
Not putting o a display,
They shine forth.
Not justifying themselves,
they are not distinguished.
Not boasting,
they receive recognition.
Not bragging,
they never falter.
They do not quarrel,
So no one quarrels with them.
Therefore the ancients say, "Yield and overcome".
Is that an empty saying?
Be really whole,
And all things will come to you.
A few months back, I was shocked to learn that Bruce was actually part German and he was actually born in the US.
On a sidenote Lee's widow looks amazing for her age. Must have been a real beauty when she was younger. That's prime milf right there.![]()
