Thread: Mythical Match Ups

Manny Pacquiao v Roberto Duran.

I'm gonna preface this thread again to say that I'm a boxing noob, though my boxing knowledge has grown since I've started to take a serious interest into it at the beginning of the year, much of it is technical and to be honest, I haven't seen enough WHOLE fights between the two of these men.

Alls I know is that these are the 2 greatest P4P fighters in history, they're both tenacious and they're both powerful punchers as well as great technical boxers.

So without too many words, how would this fight go?

P.S. Since we're on the theme of mythical match ups, I want to make this a thread about any other ones that you folks here at Saddo would like to discuss. Thank you ahead of time for the replies!

Duran would have won against Pacquiao if they both had met in the same Era and in their prime, My thoughts

That is a good match-up and don't worry to much about the duplicate thread. The Mods can probably merge this should they choose.

Welcome. I'm new here to even though I joined some time ago and its a quality forum.

I cant see Manny beating Duran at any of the weights both men have/had fought at and Duran would not have agreed to any monkey business catch weights.

At 135 Duran seemed like an alien. Outside of maybe Armstrong, Gans and B Leonard, I don't see anyone beating him at that weight.
