Gonzales kinda robbed Burns of any real credit there. Shamless stealing of a Rocky quote but Burns showed thats its not about how hard you can hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forwards. Gonzales was OK so long as he was the one doing the hitting on his terms. As soon as things started to turn against him ever so slightly he didnt want to know.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I've been saying it since the fight ended.

Ricky won the fight by taking punches.

Gonzales gave Ricky his best and what happened? Ricky gave him a solid uppercut as thanks, he broke his spirit.

Yuup.. He has heart. The way he imposed his will after getting dominated for the first 6 rounds was impressive.

To be honest I did not expect, Gonzales to be that good he was a master boxer with a big punch,
very good at dishing punishment out, That 7th round was the major factor, Ricky had to ship some very heavy punches, and at the end of the round still standing he broke Gonzales heart.!
Then after that you could see the heart, of Gonzales drain of all desire to win.
Truly a will to win performance, by Burns,! as he was taking a panning and I was worried he
    was going to be beaten.
