Thread: My Saturday night overview.

Just my thoughts on the fights I watched this past weekend.

Chris Eubank Jr fight
He struggled with the size of his unknown to me opponent. He did well in the later rounds and gained some good ring time.

Huey Fury fight.
Get the fuck out.

James DeGale vs Stepin Bozic
DeGale looked more powerful than usual, he had some snap in his body shots, bit of an unexpected and early end to the fight, although DeGale always had it.

Gamboa vs Perez
I stayed up until 3am, then waited til about 3:30am for this fight to start, HOW pissed of was I?? What an absolute shitfest, unimpressed with them both, especially Gamboa who looked like he could have turned it on at any stage. 50 cent his promoter looked well pissed of as he stood in the ring.

Chad Dawson v Stevenson
Dawson had the tactics all wrong!! He ran out and tried to take the center of the ring, but Stevenson wasn't cold, and he landed a big left, and that was curtains, some protesting from Dawson, but the stoppage was the absolute right decision.

LOL been there and done it. Sometimes you have to watch crap to really appreciate the great fights.
