rafa shouldn't fight again, he's gota be close to 40 at this point, for the little guys that might as well be 50. I'm sure he'll still give some up and commers a decent fight but don't see him winning many. I don't know about russell facing anyone of any note as i thought he'd be much more far along at this point than he is

Billy Dib or Evgeny Gradovich are beatable opponents for him, no?

If he wants a title, he should gun for those guys..

Rafael hasn't aged as well as his brother. And he's token way more punishment than him. The heart is still there. And he can still crack. I don't think he's shot yet. But he seems to be headed in that direction. He can still make noise and beat a lot of the fighters in his weight class. He just needs to stay away from speed fighters. He can't keep up with them at this stage in his career.

Five years ago no question, but that's the thing with these old guys at some point they start loosing to guys that wouldn't even have been in the ring with them in their prime. I could see him beating dib, but I think gradovich might eventually grind him out he seems to have that toughness about him.

Is he broke? He's far too old at his weight class to do be truly successful at high levels.

I don't think he's the badass he once was. In his position, I'd have signed with TR and pushed for a Juanma rematch as he's more than capable of reversing that result. I like a Jhonny Gonzalez fight, but I think they've signed him as they think he'll be a name for Leo Santa Cruz to destroy.

Is he going to fight at 122 or 126?

From what I hear his brother and him own a good amount of property and he's well off financially. So it's not a money thing. He just likes fighting. He's done it his whole life.
