So me and 3 of my buddies have set a goal that we are going to invest and open up a strip club within a year..
What makes a cracking strip club in your opinion?

Terrible idea, I think most people grow out of going to stripclubs.
The ones which don't have problems and I don't want to make them my primary customers.
Relying on strippers as part of your business they are the most broken people I have met.
Spending your free time in a dark sweaty atmosphere with perverts and degenerates.
I am not against stripclubs, I just don't waste my money on getting a dance off a sexworker, drinking shit beer and paying a cover charge.
I used to work promotions/advertising and get free entry because I knew a few bouncers, the best appeal for me was getting a good pint for relatively cheap price until 4am, which is rare in most clubs.
The first time I went I was like a kid in a candy store it was great, after that it losses the appeal, I only re-kindled that when I took my brother to his first titty bar, but even then I wouldn't spend my money there.
I met a stripper on a train, ended up kissing her and and smoking a joint, within 30 minutes, good story but not really classy, she even delayed meeting her friend, 'date' to spend time with me.
She didn't believe me when I said I never go to stripclubs, but I have stated my reasons above.
I would seriously recommend you invest your savings into something else.
When your USP is broken women dancing on a pole, and your standard of clients mean you always need Security, another expense. There is also the moral stand of profiting from desperate women.
I don't think it is a safe or wise investment, if you are going to get a liquor license why not try and start your own bar, a good bar with good beer is always in demand, you can even book bands or if you are that desperate you can book a stripper to dance for a hour, you will make your money back and not put up with the slimey elements associated with strip clubs.
Fool and his money are easily parted.
Have you ever run a business before?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I appreciate the feedback, gentlemen..
Boyla, I feel like youve been burned or something before at a strip club cuz u sound very negative about this thing. Not everybody in that business are low lives, Im sure..
Im still exploring but even if I do get into it, club isn't going to be my only source of income.. Just one of few..
Yea Killersheep, Ive ran a hostess bar an a massage parlor before so I have a good idea about how to set up this thing.. Hostess bar and a strip club couldnt be all that different, simliar concept..
U guessed it, Jerry.. We are looking at Koreatown near 6th/Alexandria area or more towards downtown..
If it goes down, Saddo members get free lap dances..
I am moving to LA in Septmber, couple that with the fact I love Asian women you will have a proud customer here.
Never been "burned"
I just don't see the average guy going to a strip club more than twice a year, the ones which frequent a stripclub tend to be weird.
I wouldn't trust my savings on broken women preforming tricks, no matter if it was only a dance.
I can just see many other businesses with better ROR, rates of return, I used to get free entry into such clubs, they did not impress me.
And managing strippers seems more trouble than it is worth.
Considering rent, in a business which only operates at night, and excludes the majority of population who don't frequent stripclubs.
There are many other businesses which could be much more profitable.
It is your money and you are free to spend it how you like, but if you spend a bit of time around the industry you wouldn't want to tie up your money in it.
Well, lemme ruin the fantasy for any of you young whipper-snappers in here. ..
https://www.stripperweb.com/
...Yeah, I joined stripperweb a few years back, it's free.
Y'know, in a club, exotic dancers present themselves solely as sex beings, as fantasies, it's their job, but I thought it would be good for me to view them as people too with actual lives outside of stripping. Yep, totally ruined the fantasy element for me. Join and read their stories if you dare!

Oh and to answer your question, it's obviously:
Straight up DIMES! Hollaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Strip bars in the UK are not as common as it is over there, a bit like guns, we think they are not needed and can be dangerous to your health.
That being said I would welcome to attend your business for free and give it a go for research purposes.![]()
