Wink Tyson Fury would be a GREAT addition to this forum

Just seen his Sky Sports Ringside snippet on YouTube and he is very entertaining. His ability to draw reference to factual events is actually quite refreshing (doesn't sound like a big ask but boxers talk such Bollocks, it's almost a shock to the ears). I like the guy.

Me too, I've come around in a big way. I actually didn't pay enough attention to him out of the ring to realize what a gem the guy is. Some of his exchanges with Haye are absolutely gold, it's impossible not to root for him. Still think he's fairly shit and gets stopped, but it'll be a bummer and I'm no longer excited about it

He is totally cringe worthy, but it works and he's quite likeable for it somehow. Watch from just before 5:00 for the next couple, it's like he has our own Ross writing for him and he cracks me up big time.

    He's probably been here.

He follows me on twitter, and a few days ago I started tweeting a link to my saddoboxing heavyweight thread here to all my followers.

That interview was awesome. It certainly made me like Fury a bit more.

Hes funny because everything he says is true and its fun y to watch how notmally gobby and confident people like Haye are shot down by Fury.

I liked how Fury kept saying Thompson was 45. He was 40 but what is Haye really going to argue back that Thompson was a sprightly 40 after Fury says "you were knocked out by a 45 year old retired, slow Thompson and you didnt want a rematch"

Haye has lost his appetite for fighting. The testosterone is dropping or whatever but even in these arguments you can see its too much bother now to argue back and he will be the same in the ring.

In reality its another big con. Haye will finish his career as a rich man but not a heavyweight champ. Hopefully he has a good accountant because he certainly likes to spend his money.

It was Booth who organised this fight. He doesnt really care whether Haye wins or loses as long as this fight sells big, hes earning. He probably recognised that Haye is close to calling it a day and wanted to squeeze one last payday out of him. It did take him a few weeks to coax Haye in to signing.

That couldn't be further from the truth. I look forward to him getting flattened. I know he's just attention grabbing but I genuinely don't think he can back up all his talk and I hate fighters like that. He's like a slightly better Audley Harrison.

Well as far as entertainment goes i think Fury and Haye is right up there. Not really a fan of either and to be honest i think the fight could go either way.

If i had to choose who i would prefer to win i would admit I'd probably route for Fury on the basis that it would be funny to see him in the ring with Wlad ..I dunno the likelihood of that happening but still be more entertaining to see him than Haye back in the ring with a Klitsch.

Well that's a bit redundant. Of course it's just for headlines, and it's put him in a much better position than he would be if not for being such a clown. Audley Harrison is boring, legitimately delusional and had to lose to everyone and their aunt before he realized he wasn't in fact going to be a great champion. I don't think Fury actually believes much of what he says, he can't even keep a straight face half the time and I have a hard time seeing why it would bother anybody. He's a funny character and amusing to listen to, Haye couldn't be further from either of those things. I completely agree Fury is getting flattened, I'd just love to see it not happen

Yeah that's exactly what this site needs, another person who doesn't know how to spell.
