    Default Haye vs. Harrison.

What if Haye hadn't stretched the fight to the 3rd round because of a bet? I think he would have ended things in Round 1.

If Haye had steamed in in the first looking for a finish he'd have been drawn on to Harrison's honey punch and stopped. Down goes Haye, Audley shook up the world. He was smart to remain cautious until an opening presented itself in the 3rd.

I have to be honest, as much as I would regard myself as a Haye fan, he (and Adam is just as bad!) seems to pretty much have an excuse for everything he fails at.

If he was an employee of mine, he would drive me nuts!!!

But back on point, it was the same thing with the Ruiz fight when they said he was stumbling around and bouncing off the ropes into punches because of poor sparring or the Valuev fight ''Oh I broke my hand'' or the Klitschko fight ''Oh I'm so powerful but ouch my toe hurts'' etc.

I don't genuinely believe it was a bet. I just think it was what it was.

Actually David strikes me as a bit of a pathological liar

Various reasons. Like the banter between him and Del Boy during the build up to their fight - when he was saying ''When I hit you, I felt your weight drop''. Bollocks did it Del Boy went straight after David after that punch and that was after Vitali had spent 12 rounds softening him up!

    And your point is?

Haye and Froch are arguably the best 2 value for money fighters we have at the moment. If you want to make a case for Harrison khan etc. then carry on, you wont get far.

I read Hayes book and he does admit lying is a norm for a boxer. Remember his lie about not being able to make weight at cruiserweight. I do not think he spends that much time with Froch now but he did say he went on a holiday with him a couple of years ago. Looking back at the Audley Farce that is quite embarrassing fight particularly after all the KO’s he has suffered since.

This post answered the question asked.

As bad a fighter as Audley became, people forget that he does have legitimate 1 punch knockout power in his straight left.

Hayes display vs Audley was pretty shameful when you see how easily other guys dealt with A Force

If he beats Fury it will be Hayes best win which says alot
