Boxing News | Pavlik arrested for stiffing cab driver

He was getting a lift home from "Billys bar", and the cab fare was $25 LOL. Obviously needs to pull his shit together one way or another, and what kind of grown man actually does that no matter how wasted. He couldn't be completely broke surely...

He's broke. Word is he didn't wanna pay the $25 cuz he wanted to get a couple of 40'z for the rest of the week. Anyway, he'll be making a comeback some time in 2014

Well he's not going anywhere if he's just been boozing it since his last failed comeback. I doubt he's actually that broke as opposed to a drunk ass loser.

Pavlik's career high purse was the 3 million he got for fighting Hopkins. And that was like 6 years ago. And I get the feeling Pavlik might not really be the responsible type. He's broke

Yes this looks like a comeback is on the cards so that he can pay the taxi bills.

Man thats just sad. World Champion just a few years ago and he couldn't get a friend to give him a lift either. Tells you the bridges burned. I'm really wishing Hopkins would have used that baseball bat he was telling him about after schooling him, might have helped knock some fookin smarts in him. Sad.

Yea, he's gone from an elite world champion the alcoholic nobody wants in their car in a few years. You'd think given that he's still in Ohio there would at least be people trying to look out for him, that is quite sad.

I'm sure E40 was the first to offer such riveting wisdom That is of course quite true, but still, you'd hope he has a few people concerned for him since he's stayed in his hometown and was big news not at all long ago. Shit I'd offer him a ride for the good fights, unless I felt he might want to start one haha.

From my understanding he also owns a bar in his hometown which I'm sure does not help his cause. I put Pavlik in the wasted talent department and I'm sure he will make a comeback here shortly and probably get hurt real bad. Damn cliche boxing stories.
