Not at all surprising, you'd hope it would require a really bad drug problem for most people to behave the way he used to. The fact that he could have used a fake penis() does tell you that pretty well anyone could still do the same thing in this sport, like wtf.

No surprise on the coke. The fake dick was a bit of surprise angle.

I'd wager that is probably true with many of the great warriors since time began. Right away I think of Hannibal. Lol on Hemingway. See now there is an existentialist gone to far. He's convinced there is no exit from life so instead of living it he ends it.

Tyson used to walk around with a huge rock of cocaine on his person and eat chunks of it as well as snort it.
Not gonna say how I know this but years ago and while he was still fighting he was seen doing it by more than one person I know ;-)
Drugs and boose will kill him within a few years.

Honestly I hope he can keep it together to some degree and find some kind of peace.

He's fucked up and pissed away more money and credibility than just about anybody in history. He's kind of been given a second chance with the comedy cameos and one man show, so hopefully he makes good on it.

Tyson has spoke of his cocaine addiction before but he said it happened after his retirement. Sat. night prior to the Ward fight HBO is showing Tysons one man show. Should be an interesting watch. I'm going to have to tell my wife I'm sick or she's going to take me shopping on Sat. I recommend any one who wasn't around when Tyson fought to check out highlights of his defense, the guy is known as a powerhouse but he had the complete package . what I dont get is how is he coming out now after all the world thought he had gotten his ass together, how is he coming out now saying how fucked up he still is? So it was all a lie, that he had gotten his life in order? How can this be true? His wife is putting up with this shit? She will leave him soon with all the kids then. He's coming out with this now because he's selling his new book and stage show.

One interview after his release he very nearly admitted it and was visibly breaking down mentally as he recalled his prison term.

He was unstable before he turned pro and theres footage of him crying on Teddy atlas shoulder before battering some kid in a golden gloves final at age 14-15.

If he was getting repeatedly raped the rapists, other prisoners and guards have missed a trick bigtime. They could have earned a fortune out of that story. Still could.

I can't see Tyson getting raped somehow. If nothing else he'd have been kept a seriously close eye on by the staff. We know for a fact he got somebody pregnant in prison so he was probably treated like a celebrity in there.

Id bet lot of money he was raped, I saw an interview on BBC while he was in England (the time he visited Brixton) and remember him saying that in prison he went as low as any man can go and stuff happening in there that was inhuman and that he was powerless to stop it, nearly in tears as he said it.
Didn't sound like a man who had it easy at all and the first thing I thought was that he'd been used as someone's bitch.
Remember it well infact, plus just the way he spoke after he bit Lennox and again was nearly in tears and spouting out some odd phrases of a sexually dominating nature.
Have a look on YouTube at the rant, he admits to being high on Coke at that presser and was even heavily into the drug scene as far back as the Bruno fight.
He openly admits it in his book and theres loads of snippets and quotes flying round at present directly from the book.
Lifers in prison wouldn't five a fuck about Tyson and what he could do with his fists at the end of the day, wouldn't effect their future life quality one bit if they killed him.
He also admits to getting far worse on drink and drugs after prison.
Just my gut feeling but I've suspected this for years that he was sexually attacked in prison.

No convicted rapist no matter who they are is gonna be treated like a celeb especially by other inmates and def not by the screws, I've not read the book yet and regardless of the comments he makes about that period I remember that interview so well as it was the first ever time id seen Tyson as a human being , close to tears totally broken and actually showing some emotion...I think it was Harry Carpenter as it goes who interviewed him.
Thats why it sticks in my mind.
Ill see if I can find it anywhere and post it up then draw your own conclusion ;-)
