Thread: Gloves Are Off - Barker/Macklin/Murray/Lee

Who saw this?

Here's what I learnt - Murray thinks Macklin is a cunt. Lee thinks Macklin is a cunt. Barker wont slate anyone. Macklin really does think he's a bit of a star. Macklin blames getting ironed out by Golovkin on Buddy McGirt. Lee ducked Macklin in 2010. Lee now wants to fight him. Barker wont slate anyone. Lee beat Barker as amateurs. Lee is clearly intelligent and an excellent talker, he has a surefire job as a pundit when he retires.

Macklin and Barker think Froch-Groves is a mismatch. Lee and Murray think Groves has the style to cause the upset.

Johnny Nelson's interview technique is still not improving.

Oh yeah... Barker will definitely fight Murray after he's dealt with Sturm and Geale. That was good to hear. They will deffo fight once they've had a thousand other fights.

Barker came across as a nice guy, i like him, but im not sure its an amazing approach for selling fights

If Barker wasn't a nice guy i'd call him boring. But he is a nice guy. Murray seems to still have that nasty streak, that probably got him in trouble, in him too. Macklin thinks he's hollywood. Lee is like a calculated hitman.

i think hes the worst out of the four, i think murray could be the best, i am mainly basing that on his display against martinez tho

I have a gay spot for most handsome men to be honest, but I am not judging them on fighting ability, I'm speaking about the show.

On where they stand due to fighting ability I would rate Lee 4th, Murray 1st, Barker 2nd and Macklin 3rd.

Before Murray fought Martinez I had him behind Macklin and Barker. But even if Martinez had a bad night Murray showed he's a solid world-class middle. I also thought Sturm edged Macklin and Sturm-Murray was about as close.

I also think Sturm will beat Barker as it goes.

Sturm is a handsome man too. Trust me.

I find it hard to rank them. I think Lee beats Barker but not the other 2. Murray Macklin could be a cracker that goes either way. Barker beats Murray and make him slight fav over Murray

i thought macklin beat sturm and sturm beat murray, i think sturm will beat barker too but i wouldnt call him handsom

his face is a bit battered and he has a big nose and he talks funny

his head is a bit wide too, in terms of handsomness i would rank them
