Thumbs up Manny Pacquiao's record breaking feat!

Manny Pacquiao is the only boxer who is credited with lineal championships in four different weight classes (flyweight, featherweight, junior lightweight, and junior welterweight) by Cyber Boxing Zone and BoxingScene.com. This has been reported by ESPN, CNN Sports Illustrated, and The Ring.

Additionally, Pacquiao has held three Ring titles in three different weight classes (featherweight, junior lightweight, and junior welterweight).

Floyd has 4 lineal titles as well. I personally think lineal titles are more circumstantial nowadays. Titles are not worth their weight anymore.

When your on elite fighters level like floyd the belts mean nothing.

Pac should perhaps add another weight class to improve his legacy even more and go for 154.

Both floyd and pac are little guys that are both fighting outside their natural weight divisons.

You have to be joking! Are you trolling or what? Don't give me that elite fighter shit, everything that reflects on Floyd's boxing is important to the man. Floyd fights for big money, if he can squeeze a few more million out of it because a belt is on line, the belt is important. Hell, man the belts are where the money is for most of them.

If theres a belt on the line of course theres more money involved thats pretty obvious.

In floyds own words belts collect dust and he has surpassed all that belt talk.

Floyds opponents would rather give floyd a loss than a belt round their waist at this stage of his career.

Think of the money involved in beating floyd and belts wont even matter.

Agreed. I have so much more respect for pacquaio's accomplishments than a cherrypicker like floyd.

What Manny acheieved has been amazing and I never really appreacited how great he was when he beat ODH, Cotto and Marg. He was so good Floyd shit his pants and would not accept a fight with him.

Minus the losses, he will stand as an all time great. He fought guys that were tough at the time they were considered badass... Mayweather fought guys he knew he could beat.

I wont discredit or counter those wins with the catchweight issues and coming of losses, thats been said a million times and dont want to spoil thread.

Pac is "great" fighter regardless of the many losses.
Ali lost and many other great champions loose.

Manny has the speed and power to give any fighter problems and im sure after rios he will be back in the mix for revenge.
