TR is forcing WBO to make this fight and it looks like it's going to happen early next year..
Burns' lucky charm is coming to an end Im afraid.. Thoughts?

Crawford puts on a clinic
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Burns may surprise you again,!!!!!! remember you can do no more than win and thats what he has
done, like him or hate him yes he was lucky last time out.
People carry on about bad decisions,! well I've seen many over here but many more your side of
the pond.
Good luck Ricky a nice guy, he may not be the best but he is not the worst Champ out there,
to be honest, the likes of Rios could learn a thing or too about how to act, a trash talking
vulgar ass hole.![]()
I dn't think Hearn will come up with the money to put this on in England. Arum will outbid him and Burns will lose badly in the States. Even if it's in Scotland he'll lose, British refereeing/judging notwithstanding.
Is Crawford that good that he can beat a fit Ricky Burns?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
That could be the case if crawford decides to play it safe again.. but he strikes me as the type who fights down to the level and the style of its opposition.. he fights accordingly..
When he faced prescott, he played it real safe cuz that was his first big step up and he fought on few days notice... understandable... but prior to that fight and after, theres been fights where he looked exceptional offensively...
He failed to step on the gas in his last fight too but given that he's heading into his first titleshot and knowing he has to impress, I think he will let his hands go.. on top of that, him and his trainer should know how weak of a boxer burns is and his wide open defense..
It could go either way imo.. he schools burns or destroys him..
Floyd's situation with baldomir was a bit different.. he wasnt a full fledged WW at the time and was going up against a stronger WW in baldo.. he wasnt accustomed to the weight yet and had to play it safe..
You could be right though.. we will see
I think Crawford is the real deal with very sharp hands. Burns is a nice guy, but I got Crawford wide.
I was meaning how the fight would play out, we may get a very similar type fight. The Sanabria fight was just a showcase imo
I agree, real high on Crawford. Didn't he beat Mikey Garcia as an amateur? Would love to see them meet in the near future!

I really don't know. He spilt with Danny from what I gather but to be honest I tend to fog over when it comes to ama's. Totally agreed, he and Mikey style wise would be a sharpshooters dream. Crawford cannot lay back and paint by numbers like he did last out...he was in total control but Garcia ripping to the body is something you cannot encourage. Hopefully the roads will collide!
I didn't like Crawfords last fight, thought he was pretty lazy, but he is very well schooled and talented. He looks like the type of fighter who will respond to what is in front of him, I think Burns would have to press the action and get torn up in the process.
I need to watch me some Crawford, I like Thurman and the way you are describing him, he could be better.
