Happy birthday champ, made up your still in the game and performing at the highest level. I read that he wants to take on Shumenov next and then after that take on the winner of Stevenson-Kovalev. He said that he believes Stevenson will be a much greater challenge because hes more diverse than Kovalev and can box and not just be power. He said that the Kovalev fight would be easier than the Pavlik one, because Kovalev is very one dimensional. B hop believes that Kovalev would try and him out because that's all he knows to do, and that's what will be his downfall. He also said that his predicitons are usually bang on and they have been for years. I wish B hop the best with his career and I would like to see this fights happening.

Bhop is an athletic marvel. Nobody competes in contact sports at 49 with almost the same vigor they did when they were 30.

He is not wrong about Kovalev trying to knock him out but he is mistaken if he thinks that is all he has to his game. I would be surprised if Hopkins got in a ring with him and even more surprised if he left it without first having had to get off the canvas. Kovalev is much better than Hopkins gives him credit for. Kovalev stops him.

Happy birthday legend and geezer. Hating him at this stage is like hating Ron Jeremys big bloated hairy arse for working over a 23 yr old blond newbie but..hey.. Hopkins is masterclass, just except it! He has the knack for self promotion while turning off just about every network and fan but still makes his inner asshole work for him while frankly being one of the most diverse talented fighters over literally a lifetime of most of us on here. Respect!

I use to wonder why the fuss about Foreman when he won the world title at 45, but now that I am older I can see he is an inspiration to old people and youngsters like me need to get fit. If he can, we all can.

I really dislike some of Bernies antics but damn you have to respect the guy. Every time he fights boxing history is being made. If he was thirty I'd probably hate him but at this stage he fascinates me.
