It appears that Kelly had a seizure in a court room today! One of my favorite fighters is in terrible condition today, feel terrible for him!

Well that kind of thing can happen if you're a big drinker and you go cold turkey.

Was only a few years ago he smashed Taylor and was the next big thing, now he's mugging cab drivers off for 25 dollars.

He's still drinking I take it?

Yikes! This only happens to people who have become seriously dependant on booze, most don't realize how serious the withdrawal from that is. Some people can't spend more than a few waking hours sober without experiencing it, good chance Kelly is in that boat

I'm not saying it is because of booze, but it COULD be.


I'm not the biggest Pavlik fan, but addiction is a rough thing

this is such a shame. Pavlik was a blue collar, poor white guy from a down at heel neighbourhood. He never seemed arrogant and he was a decent fighter with very good power.

He should be counting his money and opening shopping malls now.

Poor guy, hope he can fight those demons. Keep swinging, champ.

What a shame. I really liked him and thought he had very underrated boxing skill. He was always exciting to watch.

It's a shame he pissed his career away on booze.

Pvlik burned hard and went out quick but he had one hell of a short run.. the way he walked over Miranda and taylor was one of the greatest streaks of the decade imo.. his arsenal was similiar to monzon, his one-two combination was basic but guys couldnt avoid them.

I put more stock into a prime pavlik over GGG the paper titlist...

Alcohol withdrawals.

I am convinced that if Hatton was not a boxer he would have been an alcoholic and I am convinced that Pavlik was quite the same. They had training camps to keep them sober, but always had their glory days. Then it fell to shit and they couldn't get it together in the end.

Having a seizure must be pretty bad. It sounds Leaving Las Vegas bad in fact. I hope the silly twit is okay. I don't think he will be though. Once you feel low, you will fight it the only way you know how, and with his legal issues and seizures, he is in a war.

Pavlik, get to rehab and stay there. When you are a rich former champ tussling for a few dollars in a cab, you know there is a problem.

Maybe he needs to go to into a boxing camp to keep him fit, healthy and sober. Saw the Taylor fight again recently, he was a top fighter.
