Lazy prick. Fucking fight was known from end of last year and cant make weight. Hope he lost a huge percentage of his purse.

Might have been a conscious decision, I think the preasure is on Salido to not just perform but to win and not be known as the guy who got beat by a kid in his 2nd pro fight.

is the title vacated in a case like this or is it just off the table for this fight.

Well, it could be a set up where Salido isn't gonna win, no matter what... I always think that when guys are overweight- the winner of the fight is foregone conclusion.

most of the time the other fighter can still win it but if the one who didn't make weight wins it gets vacated

Only Loma can win the title in the fight. Salido vacates it by missing weight.

Funny cause that belt was Salidos only bargaining chip for the future. I hate to pile on the guy but I wonder if he juiced again. Got busted once but perhaps took more precautions this time with his cycle but ended up with mass he knew he could not burn off hence the refusal to even try.

Btw Lomachenko looks bigger then Salido.

I'll still root for him, but this is a bad sign and disrespectful to everyone involved. They are lil guys, nearly 3 lbs is a lot for them.

I hope Loma and Arum do not blabber on about "making history and earliest champion" but rather simply the quality on Salido for just a 2nd pro fight. It rings even more hollow with the two previous warmers just tossing it aside as a worthless paper weight. Fatties.

He might not get the distinction. He had 5 or 6 fights under the WSB. Technically they will probably consider them pro fights. No head gear and 8 oz gloves.
