I really hate that the result was overturned, Mendez was legitimately knocked out imo. Guess it's possible he comes in with a better game plan this time, but it just didn't look like he could handle Barthalemy's punch and I expect the same thing to happen one way or another. Could be Barthalemy doesn't mind getting the extra payday for now, he'd be a good opponent for say Donaire or Mares a bit down the line though.

Glad they changed the outcome to no contest.
Barthelemy will win again. The KO was illegal and the right thing is being done.

mendez will easily win the rematch but it was the right call to make since the KO punch did clearly come after the bell.

Mendez was knocked out after the bell so they correct decision was made to turn it into a no contest, but it's a shame because the writing was on the wall. Barthelemy will likely legitimately stop him this time.

Its funny how easily perceptions can change over one fight..

It was an element of surprise thing sorta like what happened in mayorga-forrest.. mendez just got caught slippin but it will not happen again..

How many fights of mendez have u guys really seen? He will come in fully prepared and be extra cautious... ya got to be dreaming to think barthlemy will land the same phnches..

    Mendez g8t this.

I disagree. I really rated Mendez back when he beat Salgado (i though he should have won their 1st fight too) but he looked really poor against Usmanee (who is underated) in his fight before Barthelemy and looked bad when he got KOd. I agree he will be more cautious but think it will be bad for him again. He probably wont get KOd as early but I dont see him winning.

I thought Mendez was going to move-up (run ). I would like to see both guys get the opportunity to set the record straight. If Mendez is on his A game he got this

Wasn't Mendez complaining about his weight cut, that he cut weight stupidly or too fast. Anyway, he will be better prepared this time, not that it will matter in my opinion.
