Thread: Adamek vs. Kovalev at 175

THIS would have been a war. Adamek hit very hard at this weight with his right hand and could box a little.

I'd pick Adamek to prevail in a war.

I agree.. I understand adamek was chasing the big dream at HW but I always thought that was a mistake because he was so much more affective in the lower divisions.

He may have not have had the recognition at the time ( in america at least), but had he stayed put, he could have been in some cracking fights with the likes of hopkins, calzaghe, roy, kessler and even David haye and he probably would be in a better place right now..

Adamek was a beast at 175 and I think he beats kovalev..

its hard to say exactly how good kovalev is, he does look good tho

adamek was/is as overrated a boxer as i have come across but he was still very solid at world class and very tough

it would be an interesting fight

adamek was good at LHW but not great. i remember him getting destroyed by dawson and even outboxed at cruiser by cunningham. he was/is definitely persistent though. honestly, kovalev just hits really hard and adamek isnt hard to find. i wouldnt be surprised to see adamek win but i would put my money on kovalev.

Kovalev and Huck at 190.

I think Kovalev is special and Ademk was only good.

Although he's crude, Huck is a one bad motherfucker. This is a guy who is strong enough to go heads up with HWs.

Kovalez would have to go to hell and back to defeat captain Huck. Trust me.
