If martinez is affected by his knees, inactivity and father time, yes kneeguel can win.

Martinez seems keen though, hope he can physically pull through.

I'll put a temp name change bet on this one

No. His hands will more than make up for assumed leg issues with tough nut Cotto.

Cotto has short legs and short arms that makes T-Rex look like Munute Bol in comparison.

That's what I'm thinking too. He sure as hell didn't look good against Murray, his knees and the inactivity being the biggest factors.
Wouldn't like to see Martinez lose big, he's one of the good guys in my opinion, usually respectful of other fighters and without a lot of trash talking. He had a great run against some good fighters.
    Fight night, will tell us!

I just hope they both have one more big one in the tank because a combined age of almost 80 doesn't sound too promising.

It will be a great fight there's hardly a time those two aren't in memorable fights.

This is the most exciting fight for me for the year. I like both fighters and Cotto deserve credit for taking on Sergio regardless of injury. I hope Martinez wins and stops Cotto in an entertaining shoot out.

I don't really think so either, it would kind of hinge on Martinez being in pretty bad form imo. Bit of a smear on what should be a great fight though, I like both guys a lot.

Well it would be huge upset i guess but when is the last time Martinez fought though. Also didn't have another surgery so how well has he recovered not to mention he is way older as well. We will have to see he has been out of the ring so long i am not sure what he has left really.
