Thread: Finally scored mayweather/maidana

Maidana won the first round. Gave floyd the second. Had maidana winning the next 4 rounds in a row so rounds 3,4,5 & 6 maidana. Had mayweather winning the next 5 rounds but there where 2 in there that I wanted to rewatch cuz they were that close but I gave them to mayweather so rounds 7,8,9,10&11 mayweather. The final round I gave to maidana thought he pressed the attack and mayweather was mostly running but still getting in trouble.

114-114 a draw

Will probably do it again soon. This was a tough fight to score.

There are a few swing rounds in the fight but I just can't see how anyone can give Maidana the 6th or give Floyd the 8th. Those both seemed quite clear to me.

For all his wild aggression, Maidana wasn't really connecting much. Remember punches to the hips, upper back, lower back and back of the head aren't scoring blows. Neither are dick punches.

I had it 115-113 Money.

I had it a draw. Great plan from Chino and his team. Money didn't have that smirk as he sat in his corner between rounds. I think a draw is quite fair. Anything close goes to Floyd with a lot of judges. It will take a convincing performance from someone to take away his 0. It will be interesting to see what changes occur in a rematch

Swing rounds can decide a fight. I wonder if most everyone even agrees on the clear rounds. I thought the clear rounds were

I'm like 90% sure that was the 11th, right after a nice check hook that I think contributed to the takedown.

Maidana won the night but I don't have any problem with 115-113 either way. I would prefer Floyd get the nod because Maidana should of done more in the 2nd half to dethrone Mayweather. No way would Floyd lose a close fight. When he loses it would be by beat down not a close decision. His time is coming.

I fell there is no real way that Maidana won that fight draw is the best he could of done. More i wathc the fight more i see how much he missed his punches. I mean he missed 628 punches and ones he was landing were not all great. I think best choice is 115-155 Mayweather as do most close fight.

I had it 116-112 Pbf.

The victory was clearly Floyd's.

its not quite how i saw it, its an interesting view tho
