My answer will always be the same, Archie Moore.
He was one of my boyhood heroes. He fought for years before he reached the top, fought everybody he could, knew a lot of the old timers, and was always likable in and out of the ring.
It would have been a real pleasure to buy him a few beers and listen to him talk about fights, fighters he fought, his life and some of the all time greats.
