Default That was Mike Perez' best fight!!

Because now he knows he can't just lazy his ass to the win.

I mean 17+ stone is ridiculous for someone 6'1".

He's one of my fav HW but my god he's lazy.

His power is overrated, sure he punched a guy into a stroke but they guy had no defence, I could punch Valuev into a coma if you let me hit him enough times.

He looked so good in the build up but on the night he was once again lazy.

I hope that loss woke his ass up.

I agree, as soon as they announced his weight I said to myself, he'll gas out after like 4 or 5.

He's only 28, but he need to drop a stone, he couldn't deliver his punches hard enough and every punch he threw was sluggish and slow.

Like I said, I hope this is his wake up call.

That is the problem with heavyweights, they can get away being not in condition. Fury looked fat.

Jennings looked in top shape.... he actually sped up in the later rounds. If he had poured on the gas, Perez would have been out of there.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Agreed. He's got major fuel tank issues and along with those t-rex arms he's got to work hard. His stamina should be a priority. Hopefully Booth can change him around. I still say the late point deduction is suspect but that's water under the bridge.

I didn't see the slightest difference in how he looked for the Takam fight to be honest. He could have won that one as well but gave most of the late rounds away, considering this and that Jennings was probably his biggest fight on paper, it's likely he's just one of those guys. OdLanier Solis has similar ablity but thinks he's the next 2006 James Toney as well.

I think you guys are wasting you time worrying about Perez! That was a terrible performance, just pathetic.
This guy needs somebody standing next to him with a cattle prod to get in shape.
He's a lazy fuck, and not worth your time. If he doesn't have some type of medical problem that can be fixed, he's finished.
Who the hell would want to waste their time on this slug? It's a hard and difficult road to get to the top when you have someone who is actually motivated, what can you do with a Perez?
