Thread: Eubank Snr. taking the piss out of Warren........AGAIN!

"Sources with knowledge of the details have advised BoxingScene.com that promoter Frank Warren is struggling to get Chris Eubank Jr. (18-0, 13KOs) to go face to face with Billy Joe Saunders (20-0, 11KOs) at a press conference.

They are set to meet for the EBU/British/Commonwealth middleweight titles on November 29th from the ExCel Arena in London. The fight is also going to be a WBO final world title eliminator.

From what BoxingScene was told, Chris Eubank Sr. - former champion and father of Eubank Jr. - is pressing on Warren to deposit £50,000 into an escrow account - as a guarantee that Saunders will not attack his son, in any manner, at the press conference.

Warren had hoped to get the two of them together for a press conference next week, but those plans are now up in the air with Team Eubank's latest round of demands."

Why does he put up with it? because he is desperate for this fight not to get cancelled for any reason. Nobody is talking about Fury v Chisora , and without BJS v Eubank , this is a Major flop.
Eubank Snr. doesn't think for one second that Saunders is going to "attack" his boy. He knows that Warren is fucked for this show without this fight and he is having fun at Warren and Saunders' expense.
I bet Warren cannot wait for this night to be over. From the Eubank side , they have to be a bit careful because if Saunders wins, they will have no bargaining chips and Warren AND Hearn will stay well clear leaving him to fight the rest of his career on Channel 5 for Hennesssy for £10 grand a fight!

The man is quality........He's getting top dollar for his boy, who can actually box. Unlike the couple of stiffs topping the bill.

Eubank SR is just an idiot who rehearses before he does an interview, same old same old , the guy is as thick as a rhino's foreskin. YAWN.

Senior is a genius and anyone playing mind games with promoters get my full support. This fight is bigger than Fury v Chisora.

Eubank's one of those guys you loathed, well many of us did, back in the day but now love.
