Depends what rules you were applying. 40 rounds Johnson paces himself and beats George.

Contemporary rules the Foreman wins.

The way Johnson used to box back then, was not even boxing by modern standards. They held their hands wrong, swung wildly and clinched constantly.

Yes, but to then throw that archaic and terribly ineffective style in with the most murderous puncher in the history of the division is not a good matchup.

The only thing we can really base this on is the physical specimens and heart... Johnson beat Foreman out in both categories plus athleticism.

I would say Johnson.. but it would be brutal.
