    Default Broner vs. Molina

This fight will be aired on NBC in the states. I'm trying to figure out if it will be on a regular nbc station or one of there special sports channels. There has even been radio adds. Nice to see boxing coming to what may be free TV unless I'm missing something.

That's my impression, if so it may be the beginning of good things for boxing. The only way to reestablish boxing in the US as mainstream is to have it available to people. Perhaps in the short term it may decrease revenue but if people start get excited for fights and can just put on channel four and its there good for boxing. In the US the sports sections of most papers has occasional little blips of fight info but usually only Floyd, Pac and Hopkins fighting at his age. Other than that nothing.

I'm probably getting ahead of myself but I will be quite pleased to see boxing become available and go mainstream. I can get rid of Showtime which I only subscribe to for boxing, there movies are Shit.

Anyone know if this card has a UK broadcaster? I can't see a listing on Box Nation or Sky - will be gutted if this doesn't get a UK airing.

wish I had info for you, it's gonna be in Vegas. I think Guerrero and Thurman are the co main event so it should be a good affair.

Also Saturday...On Spike TV a card from my hometown featuring Andre Berto v Josesito Lopez and Shawn Porter v Roberto Garcia. And RJJ is co-promoting a card on the Fort McDowell Reservation just outside Phoenix.

Box Nation are showing it in Britain. They just did a deal with Haymon for his first few cards.

yup, this fight will be on channel 4 in the US which is regular NBC. Really happy to see this. Hope it is a new era in boxing. I'm curious to know if the revenue generated for all those involved is equal to or surpasses the deals with hbo or Showtime

There's no way that Haymon is covering his costs by selling the ad space. He's buying huge chunks of TV time from various channels with a big old bankroll that he's raised from various private equity firms and investors. He's doing what the guys who started UFC did and if he's successful he'll probably graduate to his own PPV events and/or possibly even his own subscription channel.

I just hope that with bringing these fights to the mainstream and the Pac Mayweather fight, it lights the fire under EA's ass to finally make another Fight Night game for the PS4 & xbone.

so you are saying he is paying NBC to air these fights not the other way around. I don't mean to be naive I just haven't looked into it at all.

On regular cable here so its not really free but part of something I already pay for so no complaints. I've been wondering what the paydays are also.

People chuckled a little at Cotto fighting on ESPN but he just signed a 3 fight 50 million dollar deal to end his career. Apparently he might also be doing a little chuckling.
