I was listening to Tupac Shakur and I have to say that this guy was truly amzing. Even now that I am older I have to say that he was truly a great songwriter. He contradicts himself often but that's what makes him so good. He covers such a variety of emotions and moods with skill that I think he may have been one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Public images be damned, this man was a poet and ahead of his time. I'm 30 now and the hip hop of today has left a sour taste in my mouth with the exception of a few rappers but this man was amazing. Just curious as to what is the perception of him from people of other backgrounds.
