Kovalev wants to defend in Russia and Duva has a potential date for them there. If it goes down soon then it could be a bit like Lewis vs. Grant. Still, Beterbiev is confident and very dangerous even this early in his pro career. Like I said before I could see him beating Stevenson and Kovalev in a years time maybe a year and a half.

Beterbiev is light on pro experience, so I wonder if it's more promotional noise to keep his name out there than serious negotiations.

Would love to see Pascal ignored and a fight made with Golzalez but that's Neverland nonsense. It's about where the most money is.

I can't see Haymon going for this. If it does happen the fight will be when Berbetiev has more experience and will be on Haymon's terms and not in Russia.
