    Default instead of running

is there something i can do instead of running a few miles a day? its not that i can't do it, but i just can't stand the manotany of it. can a few hours of basketball (high intesnsity of course, not just sitting around taking a few shots) make up for not running? or is there no substitute for old-fashioned roadwork?

long slow distance running is not useful really unless you need to build a base aerobic fitness level, or loose weight. try interval running, run for lenghts of a round for number of rounds you compete, and do sprints up hill level ground etc up steps... box best way to build wind, is do what you intend to be doing...

right now i'm just trying, not necessarily to lose weight, but just lose fat. so i'll get to interval training when i'm where i want to be bfp wise. so could a sport do the same thing for my body, lower my body fat a decent amount? during the football season, i was in good shape, and i was noticeably slimmer, but my bfp was still mid-20's %. (it was like high 20's at the start of the season. do i need a low bfp to be in boxing shape?

well , body fat used to be pretty low in the olden days but now heavywieghts seem to sport rather high body fat %'s... as for a sport, yes remember to lose fat or weight, reduce calories, pay attention to what you eat, nd move your ass more... burns calories
