Is it because of the energy they use up having sex or does the body get sluggish/tired after you ejaculate?

I'm talking about during training camp like how boxers hold out for 12 weeks and stuff. Why do they try not to have sex for weeks in camp?

Yeah, I think it has to do with losing so much nutrients and stuff like that when you ejaculate.

Urban Myth, I would not do it the night before a fight, but apart from that, there is no medical proof it affects performance negatively.... boxing training is good for you

If they have to go all of training camp without sex. . . . . I'm glad I never took up boxing.

I don't think it's true boxers will loose strength after masturbation.
