Who win this ? Usually most of the hate is towards Floyd but it's not if he's a PED cheat or uses illegal hand warps etc. I don't think I've ever hated another boxer and felt the need to really put them down.

Probably more favour of the month like, but that Resto guy probably has had far greater hatred than adoration.

Jack Johnson comes to mind...he wasn't as horrible as the rest of these guys but he was plenty hated.
Edwin Valero, Carlos Monzon, Ike Ibeabuchi, James Butler
Good group of bad seed.
Nice grab on Johnson and it was not just from the establishment. He turned his back on his own past and sold out to those in the game with the same colour skin pigment. I bet Mcvey, Jeanette, Langford and countless more hated his guts. I'd bet Robinson had his fair share also.
"Hate" is such an odd word
Here in Canada although most where I live have never heard of him, Matthew Hilton fits the bill especially in Quebec, specifically Montreal. That entire Hilton family was a train wreck.
Overall I'd say the colour barrier days had to be the worst vs any given person. Things like Moore having to fight 160 fights to get a title shot in his mid/late 30's and the rest of Murderers Row getting boned up the ass. Burley took that to his grave. That system pretty much defines the term.
Jack Johnson was vilified and chased out of his own country.
Muhammid Ali was hated by right wingers, army types and conservatives.
Mundine for his comment about 9/11
I hate Floyd
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Off the top of my head , Margarito.
I think Khan, Froch and Bellew are twats, but I couldn't say I hate them.
Jack johnson was the most hated ever.
He was as black as they come in the highest weight class and every fight he had the audience wanted to kill him and his mother.
There is no other fighter that went through that much hate...ever.
How on earth did that man sleep.
Tony Bellew
From a personal point of view I really can't stand David Haye and I can't see how he could ever do anything to change that.
There was a time when I hated Chris Eubank, but I eventually warmed to him. I was a big Nigel Benn fan which didn't help, but I ended up realising that Eubank was good for boxing. Amusing, eccentric character and the guy could fight. He was in some seriously hard fights during his career and he backed up all his talk. He was a very tough guy with an incredible heart.
For his time period.
It had to be Cassius Clay.
