Or is it difficult as hell to win by decision? I mean jesus I have to TRY to not KO the guy to win by decision!!!

Also the same combinations land all the time, I can hook and then uppercut and it totally saps all of the fighter's strength.

The game needs to be harder and more intagible things need to happen....perhaps you aren't getting beat badly but all of a sudden your hit with a punch and you're cut badly and need to focus on defense while also trying to KO the other guy because the fight might be stopped. Perhaps the ringside doctor needs to warn you about stopping the fight early.

FN3 is a great game but it could have been sooooo much better

yep totally agree with you there mate, have u tried going on the options and putting the round lenghs to 1 or 2 minutes. that would make it easier to go the distance.

in 2004 the ai was almost impossible to loose to once you learned how it fought, you gotta play online, thats where the challenge is

yeh ive only had 1 fight go the distance and that was only cos it was a 6 round fight.

it seems that 90% of my fights the commentator will say the same stuff in the first 3-4 rounds, bout how if he was the ref he would be warning of a stoppage and that the other fighters cut man is in-experienced. its al the same, my opponent will start bleeding from his nose and then his left eye cuts open and the that big gash opens up across his nose, yet no stoppage from the ref or from the corner, even after the fact that the cutman cant even fix the ut across the nose so y even have it there if the cutman cant do anything with it.

Yeah the comp's cutman should really be better and the cuts should be a bigger deal too. I dislike the fact there is no colorman just an announcer. Brian Kenny is good and all but he needs someone else with him.

they need to say things like "It looks like a cut has opened up (on the nose, over/under the eye), due to (a head butt, right hand, left hook, etc), it (looks bad, doesn't look too bad)" and "(fighter name) is bleeding (place where he is bleeding), the corner is going to have to work on that cut between rounds"

spot on with that man, nothing seems 2 fit in all that well in the game, and the fighters get cut way 2 easy in this FN, which is kinda weird cos it was sometimes real hard 2 get a fighter 2 get cut in FNR2 even after their eyes were swollen 2 shit. it seems that they have paper for skin and after a few hits itll just open up, i just wish that they had clinches like old EA boxing games, the only other game that i had played was KOK 96 and ya could clinch in that and throw a body punch and a hook 2 the head and also do a head butt that doesnt look like it is being thrown in a pub ie: hands down and leaning the whole upper body in2 it and not even tryin 2 hide the head butt.

Man this is bullshit, i played as SRL vs SRR and usually it takes me 12 rounds in round2 to beat SRR and i beat him in 6 rounds today. He cut me to pieces...althought i was constantly hurting him the ref was "going to stop the fight". PS3 version better be better.

basically you have to mount an assault and then back off and avoid shots for like 2 minutes to win, very boring especially in the later rounds

for the next game they should have no commentary or at least let you have a option to turn it off coz that guy is annoying

I can't be stopped on the left side and I get beat like a redheaded stepchild on the right . When a group of us play no one wants to be second player.

Same thing holds true for me with Street Fighter. I cannot throw a Dragon Uppercut on command from the right side...makes me sick.
