    Default Imam lost.

As you might know, Amir Imam lost Saturday, and pretty badly too. He lost every round but the first.

I can't believe people thought he was going to be the next big thing at 140, despite not having done jack shit yet.

If you wanna watch for yourself, here's the fight:

I said that I didn't think that imam would dominate a division. I still think that he potentially has a good career ahead of him but nothing above a contender.

His defense was horrendous. You could see after the early knockdown he thought he could afford to play and posture with Granados who defiantly proceeded to blow up in Imams face with his fists. Nothing against Imam but a very satisfying watch.

In the first round he looked dynamite. The rest of the fight he couldn't keep Granados off, and his tendency to hold his fist out like a measuring stick was almost Klitschko-like, except for the fact that it didn't work at all and Granados just ducked under the arm and continuously punched.

Didn't know anything about him, still know almost nothing positive about him, except he can take a lot of shots.

I was thinking Granados was using that outstretched arm as his own rangefinder, 'I know there is a body on the other end of that arm and I'm going to hit it every chance i get!' LOL
Turned into a real beat down. Why Imam wasn't throwing 100 jabs a round is a mystery! All is not lost, that will be the last opponent he underestimates!

This is a big-time upset. I bet no one called this one.

Not when it was happening . It is nuggets like this that get lost under the radar, forgotten when votes for year end "upsets" and underdogs are counted.
