Whats your thoughts on this? I think they should have to be a minimum of 6 or maybe 8. See loads of prospects getting gifts in 4 rounders. I dont think they should count in a pros record.

Four rounder's are a good transition.... I do think that we need to go back to the 15 round bouts PARTICULARLY for title unifications.

Four round pro bouts have been in exsistance for a very long time. Prelim 4 rounders are often the most exciting bouts on local cards and their needed to give a beginner a chance to develop slowly.
Four three minute rounds get to be a loooong time when your a kid starting out if your matched
to have a challenge. Being a pro has nothing to do with time duration it has to do with getting paid!

    I agree.

On a side note I don't think pros should be allowed to fight in the Olympics either. I know they will be pulling guys out of the WSB series but there is nothing stopping pros from qualifying (not sure how) for Brazil.

To get their feet wet in the professional game then 4 rounds is justifiable. I think there is nothing wrong with that.

No professionals should compete in the Olympics including tennis basketball and fottball players,
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I like the 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 round system. A serious boxer will progress at a reasonable pace, especially at heavyweight.
