Thread: CREED: a damn good movie!

check it out if u haven't. it tells who won the 3rd "behind closed doors" fight between apollo & rocky.
great acting. good story. and it makes u forget all the racial bullshit in the world today, if only for a few hrs.

You should see love and mercy about Brian Wilson, reminds you how evil people are today,


By the way, creed is a good movie! 5/5 toasters

I thought the first 80 minutes was mediocre, but the final third was superb. Stallone was really good and a great final fight. I also miss Paulie who was a great character. Everyone is dead.

Not in it at all. Just buried with Adrien. I was hoping for some Paulie action. But no, all dead already so doesnt really affect any of the film. I just wish Creed wouldnt mumble so much. Difficult to understand him at times. His Dad was more articulate.

Yep Paulie, Adrian, Apollo, even Thunderlips (probably).

It's a good film. Bellew exceeded my expectations of him. Much better than I thought he'd be.

I just couldn't get into Creed's relationship and all the mumbling, but totally agree on Bellew who was really good. As soon as Rocky takes a turn that is when the film finally started to resonate with me. I just didn't really care about the Creed character very much, but by the fight, you are really on his side because he is such a green underdog.

It's a pretty good movie but it was really hard to like the main character. He just seemed annoying.

Making me want to watch it now or I could wait until it comes on TV in a few years time.

I think he played the role of the "Fatherless Black Kid with a chip on his shoulder" quite well. He wasn't supposed to be as well-rounded and articulate as Apollo was, especially considering his background.

I came into this movie with a completely open mind, meaning I didn't want to get caught up in comparing it to the other Rocky films. A pretty decent standalone film.
