Worth a look. May weather promoted.

He's got talent. Needs better competition.
Been watching him for a while now great entertainment and little brawler but get the feeling he's going to look very bad against the 1st good slick boxer he faces
Who ever it is May weather is going to KO him
Seen him a few times and by all accounts this is the one Mayweather is dubbing the "next Floyd". Exciting style with great reflex. Gets hit a little though and can't see him near as clean a boxer as Mayweather. Seems like a humble guy though, focused.
He seems like one of those guys who will destroy lesser competition and look good doing it, but once he steps up, he will get exposed.
He is very fast, he has the speed of Khan.

He has to do something about those trunks....he just looks so silly in them like he borrowed them from his heavyweight friend.
Good speed, good power, but there's only so much you can take from a fight like that....he seems comfortable in the ring which is nice. He's young 21 years old, that's positive. What's the idea for him at lightweight? Is he going to challenge for titles there or is he prepping for 140 and welterweight? If he's aiming for titles at lightweight how will he handle guys like: Linares, Barthalemy, Gamboa, Crolla, Bey, Vazquez, Verdejo and at 140....let's just say I think Bud Crawford will soon be the #1 P4P fighter in the world
He probably borrowed the trunks from Mike Tyson.

I've only seen a bit of him, very talented clearly, and he's young enough to improve a lot technically. He seems to have a very good jab, just doesn't use it or work off of it enough. Doesn't seem like his right hand is all that developed either, if he misses wide it seems to be with that hook. He'll be fun to watch however good he turns out to be, he's super fast and a dynamic puncher, moves well and those uppercuts are nasty.
Has himself a title shot with Jose Pedraza on Jack-DeGale card. Winnable fight with speed and some bullying style but it's a big step up for Davis all the same. He'll have to force it and isn't entirely hard to miss.
Already? Well props to him for taking a risky fight at this stage of his career.
I've only seen Pedraza against Edner Cherry, that fight could have gone either way, can't remember what card it was on. If I had to bet here Davis will stop him impressively, it's a smart move imo.
