Hmm ok thats the first time ive seen calzaghe fight and i must say....he has awful technique from what i saw anyway. If roy jones can get back to his old self then i say calzaghe loses. But a great win for joe and he deserved it

i wouldnt go as far as to say calzaghe has awful technique.....calzaghe was opening up on a beaten man, he could afford to let his fists fly...

seriously, snakey, check out a few more of calzaghes fights....he's actually a very underated boxer

The dvd of Calzaghe Lacy is advertised on the back of Boxing monthly and Frank Warren described it as the best performance by a British boxer .

Joe deserves all the praise he gets for that because its not often we see an undefeated world champ American get so badly beaten by a Brit .

I really hope Joe gets fights with Jones / Tarver / Taylor etc cuz I think he beats them all . I dont think anyone in the world can beat Joe

Call me stupid but In some clips he looked like SRR with his flurries combinations.

Hmm id hope thats all he was doing as he didnt look...well as good as everyone has been saying. But i havent seen the whole fight or any other of his fights so i cant judge.

In a way having "awful technique" and still winning in style is a sign of a great champ.

Look at Ali he used to have his hand by his waist and pull his head back from punches but he could get away with it.

Naz used to break all the rules of "how to box" and got away with it for years.

True, he has very weird punches.

You didn't see a thing Snakey, all that video had ws after about the 6th round where Calzaghe didn't even have to box... see the whole fight and watch how he uses his foot work to keep Jeff lacy off balance from the opening bell.

Good editing job. You should have added in there Jeffs bombs that just missed early in the fight. If one of those had landed I dont think "King of the world" would have gotten up.

Lacy landed afew shots flush as early as the 1st round when he had all his strength but Joe took em clean and came back with harder faster shots . I cant see a way Jeff could have possibly won that fight

OK, I think you are the first person with whith enough balls to say anything of this sort, you do realise that the fight actualy happened and everyone here saw it and how Jeff was proved to be so patheticly inept in every department, in fact go back to the round by round, in round one I didnt see it but apparently Lacy landed a bomb on Joe but he took it.
