The UFC takes it's cut from it's fighters ergo all of their fighters pretty much have a ceiling of how much they will make in boxing you don't have that, you have individual promoters and guys promoting themselves which Floyd does and has done quite well to him as a businessman......HOWEVER....Floyd should be getting this big of a payday for fighting NOT a boxer in a BOXING match? There's my issue with it.

This fight doesn't make Floyd a great boxer it makes him a great con artist. The only risk he's taking is that people WON'T be dumb enough to buy the fight but he's getting paid regardless so this is quite possibly the EASIEST MONEY a boxer has ever or will ever make.
