Two associates of Rudy Giuliani tried to recruit a top Ukrainian energy official in March in a proposed takeover of the state oil-and-gas company, describing the company’s chief executive and the then-U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch as part of “this Soros cartel” working against President Trump.
“You’re a Republican, right?” Andrew Favorov, the head of natural gas for state-run Naftogaz, recalled the men, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, asking him, after their reference to investor and Democratic donor George Soros. “We want you to be our guy.”
Favorov said he met voluntarily this week with New York federal prosecutors as part of an investigation into the activities of Fruman, Parnas and Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney. Prosecutors last month arrested Fruman and Parnas on campaign-finance charges stemming from alleged efforts to leverage political connections and campaign donations — some from foreign donors — to benefit their own business interests and to assist Giuliani in efforts to oust Yovanovitch.
In one of his first interviews since meeting with prosecutors, Favorov described the efforts of Fruman and Parnas to enlist his help in an effort to oust Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev. Naftogaz is the most important company in Ukraine, representing nearly 10% of the country’s gross domestic product and supplying virtually all of the country’s natural gas.
Favorov said he was bewildered by Parnas and Fruman’s pitch to stage a takeover of Naftogaz and put Mr. Favorov in place as CEO. On one hand, the pair appeared to know little about the natural gas business; on the other it was clear to him they had significant political connections “They don’t teach you how to deal with this in business school,” Favorov said.

Confirmation that Obama was spying on Trump, confirmation the investigation into Trump was started on false information, conformation Hillary and the Democrats were supplying this false information, British and American intelligence heads caught trying to rig the 2016 election, the heads of American media and senior politicians including members of even the Republican party outed as deep state actors who were rigging the election.

That's just a preview. Basically the release of this report is going to be game over for the deep state. Deep staters from Obama on down facing criminal charges! It's going to be game over for the deep state:

Here's what actually happened. On Friday night, the traditional time for governments to bury bad news, the DOJ leaks the results of the report to the Post and the Times.

    The Washington Post:

The inspector general report, the officials said, is divided into three parts. One focuses on the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane probe of the Trump campaign. Another reviews the surveillance order on Page. A third assesses the bureau’s handling of Steele and his information.

According to the two officials, Horowitz is expected to conclude that the opening of Crossfire Hurricane was legally and factually justified. His report will not provide fodder for several conservative conspiracy theories surrounding the case — particularly the notion that Papadopoulos was set up as part of a nefarious Western intelligence operation.

The inspector general also is expected to find that the application and subsequent renewals to monitor Page’s communications were proper and observed relevant guidelines, the officials said.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...ebc_story.html

    The New York Times:

In a phone call on Friday to “Fox & Friends,” Mr. Trump played up the initial revelations to claim that “they were spying on my campaign and it went right to the top and everybody knows it and now we’re going to find out” and “they tried to overthrow the presidency.” The accounts of Mr. Horowitz’s findings do not support that assertion.
And in other crucial respects, the draft inspector general report is said not to corroborate conspiracy theories and insinuations offered by Mr. Trump and his allies about the early stages of the Russia investigation, before Mr. Mueller was appointed as special counsel and took it over.
For example, the draft report also concludes that the F.B.I. had enough evidence to meet the legal standard for opening the investigation, though Mr. Horowitz emphasized that the bar is low, the people said.
The report is also said to conclude that Joseph Mifsud, a Russia-linked professor who told a Trump campaign official that Russia had damaging information on Mrs. Clinton in the form of hacked Democratic emails — a key fact used to open the investigation — was not an F.B.I. informant. That undercuts an assertion of conservative critics of the inquiry.
None of the evidence used to open the investigation came from the C.I.A. or from a notorious dossier of claims about Trump-Russia ties compiled by Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence agent whose research was funded by Democrats, the report concludes, according to the people briefed on it.

How about that then Lyle? There were valid reasons to open the investigation into the Trump campaign, Mifsud wasn't an FBI informant, none of the evidence used to open the investigation came from the CIA or the Steele dossier, the FISA warrant application to start wiretapping Page was fine. Obama, Hillary and the rest of the deep staters still not facing any charges.
The report hasn't even come out yet, but there ARE criminal charges coming and we'll see where it goes....you gloat as much as you can...has ANYTHING played out how you wanted? Comey, Mueller? Russiagate? Ukrainegate? Just a bunch of things that really got your hopes up and yet here you are Pavlov's Dog, the NYT and WaPo ring the bell for you to salivate and here you are drooling away.

Can we just agree that American presidents shouldn't go back on their word and betray allies they'd made deals with?

What Trump did is the Constitutional definition of an impeachable offence as evidenced even by Fox News.

And what happened to all the deep state arrests then? I thought this report was going to mean criminal charges for Obama, Hillary and the rest of the deep staters? Now it turns out that they did nothing wrong and there was good reason to investigate Trump, the investigations were carried out properly, all the last three years of conspiracy theories about Page, Papadopoulos, Mifsud and FISA are all bullshit! Are the Times and the Post lying Lyle? Is this report really going to produce criminal charges?

We helped the Kurds vs ISIS as was the deal. We helped initiate a ceasefire with Turkey, which was above and beyond the deal. Now sure folks can look back and say "Gee those Kurds are in a tough spot", I've got no issue with people feeling that way, but American soldiers shouldn't be dying in wars we're specifically not involved in and it's fucking ridiculous to expect America to side against Turkey given what they provide NATO & prevent Russia from doing (having another warm water port for example).

Well if what Trump did was "the Constitutional definition of an impeachable offence"...then what of this?

    and what of this?

I guess those are fine because they are Democrats right Kirk?

Also maybe you'll explain this to me...IF Trump bribed Ukraine or there was a quid pro quo or whatever fucking buzzword the left is bandying around today why was there no immediate action taken on Burisma or Hunter Biden? Also why would Ukraine still get the missiles promised to them if delivery of those missiles was contingent on a move being made on Burisma? Also if Trump was so cruel to Ukraine, why did he (and not Saint Obama) provide them with weapons?

The was no Russian collusion, there WAS spying, it WASN'T predicated, and there's nothing screwy going on in regards to Ukraine...unless you're talking about a Vice President's son getting multiple millions for doing and that same VP demanding certain things from Ukraine's government OR ELSE they wouldn't be able to run their economy.....yeah THAT seems sketchy as fuck, but you don't seem to mind it as you know the prosecutor was crooked

Want to go ahead and get started working on Hunter Biden getting investments in his hedge fund from the Chinese? Or would you rather tap out?

Subpoenas issued to people with ties to President Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and his associates indicate a broad federal investigation into possible money laundering, obstruction of justice and campaign-finance violations, and suggest that prosecutors are looking closely at the work of Mr. Giuliani himself, according to people familiar with the matter.

In recent weeks, prosecutors have sent subpoenas and other requests to potential witnesses seeking records and information related to Mr. Giuliani and two of his associates, according to the people. The investigation, led by the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has already led to campaign-finance charges against the associates, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.

The subpoenas offer the clearest indication yet that federal prosecutors are examining Mr. Giuliani’s consulting work. Among the entities named in the subpoenas are Giuliani Partners, a security-consulting firm founded by Mr. Giuliani in 2002 that had multiple foreign clients, including a city in Ukraine. The subpoenas also sought information on a company co-founded by Mr. Parnas that paid Mr. Giuliani for business and legal advice.

Mr. Giuliani said in an interview that he hadn’t been contacted by prosecutors and has denied wrongdoing.

Subpoenas described to The Wall Street Journal listed more than a half dozen potential charges under consideration: obstruction of justice, money laundering, conspiracy to defraud the United States, making false statements to the federal government, serving as an agent of a foreign government without registering with the Justice Department, donating funds from foreign nationals, making contributions in the name of another person or allowing someone else to use one’s name to make a contribution, along with mail fraud and wire fraud.

All this shit is boring just a billion accusations thrown at Trump and his allies and they're trying to see what sticks. NOTHING that's what is sticking, NOTHING. The Schiff hearings are the best the Dems have? That's fucking pathetic.

"Is this report really going to produce criminal charges?" Attorney John Henry Durham and IG John Huber will be sure to let everyone know I'm sure.

You just keep posting the same stuff over and over goldfish boy. See the difference here is Biden is doing this publicly at the behest of the American government. Getting the prosecutor fired was supported even by the Republican party at the time. Biden wasn't doing this secretly for personal gain, he was doing it publicly as the representative of the American government.

If you actually read anything and had the ability to remember things you'd be able to put something like this in context. But you have no idea at all and can't remember anyway so conservative media showing you a video of Biden bragging about getting a prosecutor fired and a misleading story to go with it has you completely fooled. It's tragic really.

There was a months long effort to get the Ukrainians to open an investigation into Biden. Again, the reading/memory thing. It's already been covered a couple of weeks ago. Extensive evidence from testimony from the people involved, thousands of text messages, the fucking script the Trump people wrote for Zelensky to announce the investigations, we've covered this already goldfish boy.

We already know there were over 200 meetings between the Russians and the Trump campaign. The only reason a conspiracy couldn't be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, according to the Mueller report, is that Trump people lied, refused to answer questions, destroyed evidence, took the fifth when under questioning and so on. All fallen off your little shelf.

This report coming out says no spying and the investigation was adequatley predicated. Mueller report says the same thing.

Compare what you think you know about Biden and China with the facts:

    https://www.factcheck.org/2019/10/tr...iden-in-china/

And if anything criminal turns up here I'm fine with it being investigated and prosecuted. But this is no different from the deals the Trump family are flying round the world doing except that they're all done privately so nobody knows the details while this was done publicly. I would love to see both Biden family and Trump family investments fully investigated.

You're still dodging questions here, just throwing a load of shit at the wall to avoid answering.

    Here we are again:

Can we just agree that American presidents shouldn't go back on their word and betray allies they'd made deals with?

And again you should fucking read something. Huber isn't investigating anything anymore. Durham is investigating this single issue with (Climesmith?) which was the only thing the about to be released report came up with. There's nothing else going to come of any of these investigations. But we do know now that the investigation into Trump was warranted and that the three years of bullshit about Page, Papadopoulos and the rest were just that. The whole Q anon thing is a load of rubbish.

Hunter Biden was making $83K a month with Burisma...what did he do for that company? His father demanded the prosecutor going after Zlochevsky & Bursima fired...that's what he did. Other than that, the dude is a crack head fuck up with a track record of fuck ups a mile long.

A bunch of hearsay, a bunch of "I feel"/"I believe" vs no actual hard evidence, no first hand knowledge of anything other than a direct recounting of Trump saying and I quote "I want NOTHING from Ukraine." ..... am I misremembering this? I mean I actually watched and listened to the hearings and you read the NYT and WaPo who are notoriously out to showcase President Trump in the worst light possible (which you of course love)

    If you say so man

The 302's were edited that's a big no-no. The Steele Dossier (actually written by Glenn Simpson) was used to fraudulently obtain FISA warrants because the FBI KNEW Steele was full of shit and a leaker and that the dossier was bullshit....but I guess we'll just wait and see.

Oh must have been a slow day for them...they usually fact check parody sites. Great source

We'll see how long you feel that way.

I responded to that question directly and now I'll tell you that if you don't like my answer you can go fuck yourself.

We'll see what happens Kirk. Best of luck

Question: why do you even bother debating with kirtland?
