Default Would Winky occupy number one spot on P4P if he wins?

At the moment there is a close contest between Winky and floyd for the p4p number one spot. If Winky beats jermain wouldn't the victory demand winky the number one spot. coz winky's last four fights have included soliman, trinidad, and 2 of mosley fights which his performances were shere humiliation for his opponents the same can be said about floyd's last 4 performances but they were against mitchell, gatti, bruselles and corley.
"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya

The outcome of this saturday will make no difference. Winky is the best pound for pound boxer in the sport right now. He made Felix Trinidad look like an amature, some thing nobody expected. Not to mention what he did to Mosley (twice). He is the man to beat right now in the sport of boxing and a win against the undisputed midle wight champ will only reasure the fact that he is the best right now.

If Wright wins, and Floyd wins, Wright gets the nod.

I have Winky at number 1 P4P now. Not sure what to do if he loses!! If Pacman wins against Morales third time around, I HAVE to have him at number 1.

Seriously?? what would Pac beating a shot Morales again do for him?? I think Manny is stuck at no.3 until Wright or PBF lose.. Between those 2 though, it's a tough call really, becase Taylor is a huge step up from anyone Winky has ever fought, considering his size.. Tito was never really a true middle and Mosley was best at 135.. Taylor would be a massive win that probably would put Wright at no.1 even with most experts... But I think people are just looking for reasons to take PBF off the top spot as of right now... I mean come on, how in the hell can the P4P positions change overnight without these fights happening?? suddenly ppl are saying Winky is above PBF WTF?!? Why, because he beat Soliman 3 months ago, and now is scheduled to beat Taylor and most ppl think he'll win that? It doesnt make any sense.. Suppose PBF dominates Judah, then after the fight he signs to fight Margarito, and then Hatton... I bet then ppl will still have him as the no.1 guy until he loses, even though no fights have actually taken place. My point is noone was putting Wright above PBF a few months ago why now.. Just the way I see it.

I think on pure skill PBF is better by a smudge, depends on how you want to split the hair. I think that Winky makes up for any of that by the quality of opposition he has fought. Winky's opponents are far superiour to what PBF has fought lately. Even if PBF wins Winky should be the p4p #1.

PBF is fighting a guy that is coming off a loss, has been Koed in 2 rounds, and beaten 3 times - I don't rate Taylor or Judah, but Winky gets number 1 for me if he wins.

I don't like Winky. I'll say it. I hate his style. His nature of fighting. He makes the other guys commit, which I think is bogus.

I say I'm hyped about the Taylor Winky fight, only because I'm a fight fan who knows it's special to have this happen immediately. I think Taylor isn't what many thought he was. He let many of his fans down on the Hopkins fight. You take a title from an old aging fighter, not give him RESPECT, especially if your fighting old geezer grampa. heh Ricky Hatton showed what your supposed to do to an aging fighter; use your youth, talent, determination, will and beat the hell outta him.

But if Wright wins this one, he pretty much dominates two divisions, and I may say "solidly."

Can't argue Winky's recent challenging fights. Should he win this one, strong arguments are in for Winky at the number one spot. Then, the only way I'd give Pacquiao the nod over him, is if he takes out Barrera in a rematch, which he is more than capable of doing.

Mayweather at number one. Horrible for boxing, considering the fighters Chamiley mentions he has currently dominated.

I disagree. If they both win, Floyd should still remain #1 P4P. He's undefeated.

Thats what am thinking, Winky is taking on the best available in his division without a second thought, the only other person with the same attitude thats given the best opponents their opportunity is Manny Pacquaio.

If Winky or Manny were in Floyds shoes they would be lookin to fight either....Cotto, Margarito or Hatton.
