Censorship in China
My wife is on a month long business trip in China. They do have CNN and MSNBC on in China. My wife said at certain parts of the US news the screen will suddenly blackout. They are censoring the Hong Kong protests or any other news they don’t like. Apparently several images of the protests that did make it out the Chinese papers presented as Father’s Day celebrations. Just bringing you the news

Can you ask her about dead cats in the street/curbside? I know some people who regularly go to China, the dead cats everywhere always sticks with me, are they exaggerating?

I’ve been there several times, three different cities and a few villages. Never noticed what you are talking about. I know in Beijing and Shanghai owning a Persian cat is a sign of wealth. They are very expensive. I didn’t see all of China so it may be. I can say I did see a human on the road in Shanghai. He had been riding a bike and was hit by a car.
