liked that cheers, finding your husband dead having been away for six days then ringing the lawyer 4 hours before the police is super suspicious.
my theory is that she was there when it happened and it took her six days at her mums to decide how to deal with it and went back with the lawyer to cover up whatever needed to be first.
guess they missed the arse balloon or planted it

He beat the living shit out of Wepner, even when he was well past his best. I think Chuck needed about 70 stitches afterwards.
During the interview afterwards, the press asked Sonny if Wepner was the bravest man he had met ......
"No, but his manager is" , Liston deadpanned.
