Hughie Fury V Povetkin made now that he has joined Matchroom

Hughie Fury will face Alexander Povetkin on the undercard of Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell, it was officially announced on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old heavyweight signed with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom last week and is being thrown straight into the deep end with a top class heavyweight.




Fury, 23-2, previously leapt up in class against Joseph Parker and lost a majority decision for the WBO world title back in 2017.
He then recovered and faced Kubrat Pulev in an IBF final eliminator last October, but suffered a serious cut early on and ended up losing by decision.
Since that defeat, Fury has returned with two wins over Chris Norrad and Samuel Peter, and is now ready to challenge the best once again....

Yes it's massive for Campbell and a huge event having the P4P king fighting in the UK.
I don't see this as a mismatch at all,

He held the WBC Silver and Commonwealth lightweight titles from 2016 to 2017, and has challenged once for the WBA and Ring magazine lightweight titles in 2017. As an amateur, Campbell won gold at the 2008 European Championships and 2012 Olympics, and silver at the 2011 World Championships, all in the bantamweight division.
