Default Manny joins Floyd in dropping off highest paid athletes list

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wor...r-earners/amp/

Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has joined old rival, Floyd Mayweather, in dropping off the Forbes Money List for the Top 100 Athletes in 2020. Last year, the ‘Pacman’ slipped to 92 on the annual rankings as his career began winding down. Since then, and despite beating Adrien Broner and Keith Thurman in 2019, Pacquiao doesn’t even make the compilation. Earning $26 million last year, the Filipino Senator was unable to garner enough cash to squeeze into the Highest-Paid sports stars. Mayweather left the honor roll in 2019 as Pacquiao’s earning power began to wane. Floyd has now only appeared on the list once in the last four years.

I am sure Floyd is upset that he has not been on the list. Manny probably still needs the money.

In the Philippines you are senator for life. Not saying that would allow manny to live the life he is accustomed to but I don’t think he will be hurting anyway. I’m not sure how well Floyd managed his money after those tax issues he had but it’s speculation on my part

In 2020? Uh yea, can't imagine to many fighters will be on that list. I wonder what happens with someone like Canelo.. had one of the highest contracts in sports, but was it on a per fight basis? and now with DAZN maybe going under. I'd imagine no fighter, under contract or not, will be seeing anything in the bank through all this.
