Default Clarissa Shields nor Laila Ali are the best in Women's Boxing.

The coalminer's daughter was so good, they put on her primetime o a Tyson card. That's how good she was and how long. I'd consider a tossup between Lucia Ryjker/Clarissa Shields, Sumya Anani and Ann Wolfe to vie for the 2nd, 3rd ,4th, & 5th spots

From 89-2003 she lost 2x & drew 2x- 3she avenged in fashion. Anani the one who beat her 36-1-2 vs just 11-0... would lose just once in 8 years- she avenged that loss. Anani retiret at 25-3, lost her last 2 fight, meaning she was a winner throughout her whole career. All of these women never had financial haggling in their careers- that would be Laila Ali.

Ali wanted credit for being a 5'10 SMW/LHW taking on a 5'4 Superlight weight in Martin who had been in the game for 14 years. I kinda want to put Vonda Ward ahead of Laila, but that is the bias in me. Vonda actually fought on after her loss to Ann Wolfe- not only did she go on to win the WH title, but she retired holding 3 belts.

    Women's best?
    1. Martin
    2. Wolfe
    3. Ryjker
    4. Shields
    5. Brækhus (most rank her #1--I haven't seen enough of her to prove/dispute)
    6. Anani
    7. Ali
    8. Ward
    9. Taylor
    10. J. Frazier---I rank Jackie here because she never wanted to box- just fight Laila- a 40 year old woman broke Laila's nose- went toe to toe- had Laila stating post fight- I don't feel good about this win at all. Jackie fought like she never seen gloves, and just took a hit of the crack-pipe and went out swinging like a ghetto girl in a closed-circle school yard brawl...at times inspiring other times funny to see a 20 something year old Laila unable to control this 40 year old chick!

    Brækhus

In boxing she has reigned as the undisputed female welterweight champion since 2014, and is the first woman in any weight class to hold the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO titles simultaneously. She is also one of only seven boxers in history, female or male, to hold all four major world titles simultaneously, along with Bernard Hopkins (2004–2005), Jermain Taylor (2005), Terence Crawford (2017), Oleksandr Usyk (2018–2019), Claressa Shields (2019–), and Katie Taylor (2019-). In 2016, she captured the IBO title, becoming the first ever boxer to hold five world titles from sanctioning bodies simultaneously.

    Brown Sugar's Record.

On May 8, 2004 Ann Wolfe emulated Henry Armstrong's record of three world titles at the same time in different weight classes, by gaining the IBA world Light Heavyweight championship, knocking out undefeated champion and former NCAA basketball star Vonda Ward at one minute and eight seconds of Round One

    She won titles-
    Light Heavyweight
    Super Middleweight
    Middleweight
    Light Middleweight

Lost her 4th fight which was a title fight. Retired at 24-1.

    THE GOAT-CoalMiner's Daughter

She began her career fighting in “Toughwoman” contests and won three consecutive titles

In 2005 a fight with Lucia Rijker, entitled "Million Dollar Lady", was canceled because Rijker ruptured her Achilles during training. ( I put this here -because Laila ran off at the mouth on how hard it was to make a fight with Rijker or Wolfe)
Fight was made- unfortunate Lucia's problem was that she was prone to injuries, not haggling for money.

In 2016, she became the first female boxer inducted into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame. In 2020, Martin was part of the first ever class of women boxers into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.-postponed to 2021 due to coronavirus.

She fought on JCC, Tyson & Holyfield cards. She paved the way- give this woman her due!

Lucia Ryjker was the best for me.

Nicola Adams was technically the best woman boxer I have seen.

Nicola Adams- I will check around for her, thx!

Personally I just cant say enough negative things about Laila- she had the name and talent to catapult woman's boxing. Now that I hear her running off about Clarrissa, I want that young ghetto girl to beat Laila's butt!

I knew Laila was a hype job and carefully managed so was never a big fan of hers. Martin was exciting but raw and had her limits. Never really been a fan of women's boxing which could be chauvinistic bias and/or the standard was poor.

I liked Jane Couch who was a tough British woman boxer who pioneered the sport here. She had tough times trying to get boxing bouts. One story was when she was training with Ricky Hatton she was that poor and hungry she was too shy to ask him for help.

I watched a few women fights years back but I haven’t watched any since. I know all of those names, but I’ve only seen a few fight.

    https://www.mlive.com/sports/2020/05...tan-games.html

I think The Rock's Titan Games put yet another dent in boxing, albeit a tiny one, a crack nonetheless.

McMillan, 31rs old who took out the boxing champ did that heptathlon seven-event track and field competition that includes the shot put, long jump, javelin and hurdling.

What I interpret that to mean is; at least from a gender standpoint- a woman's routine can't fuck with a heptathlon type athlete. In fact I am confident not a single HW would make it in ANY of these games, not a damn event.
Maybe a Manny Pacquiao has the athleticism, power & most of all workout regime that has most of his muscles on full function.

Clarissa was crying like a school girl, cause she got schooled IMO on upper body strength.

Laila Ali, Shields, none of these females boxers has the athleticism to fuck with a MMA top tier opponent IMO. So I assume boxers overall will never go anywhere near this type of event.

Instead of beating on women she chose to beat on the drums

I would make mad love to this woman up into her mid 70s, fuck it.
